Trip to the British Isles - first up: England

Kyle with a royal guard
We had the great opportunity to go to the British Isles for 2 weeks in June 2016.  Here's a sampling of the things we saw and did.  First stop was London, England.

Of course it rained in London our first day.

John with Kyle and Katie at the Tower of London

We took a boat ride from the tower of London under several bridges to another part of London

We went to Harry Potter's train station

John "holding" Big Ben
Heather & Kyle enjoying some icecream

We rode the London Eye and saw the whole city

Kyle & Katie enjoying one of the iconic phone booths

Next stop was out of the city to see Shakespear's birthplace.  This is his house with Juliet in the window.

Romeo!

Too bad for Katie & Kyle at Shakespeare's house

A Knight to shake our hands

Beautiful Cathedral in York that we toured

That's a big door!

Katie requested a tour of Sherlock's home in London.

We toured Churchill's underground war rooms in London

This was a march protesting the Brexit which happened while we were there.  This is London.

Couldn't resist snapping a picture of one of the buses in London advertising this play.
