I just realized that I didn't say anything about the wonderful gift my daughters gave me for Mother's Day. I used to buy a double chocolate muffin mix from Betty Crocker but then they quit making them. I was so sad and have tried to find a recipe that is similar but haven't had any luck. My daughters started a blog on Mother's Day with the idea that they'd try muffin recipes in hopes of duplicating my favorite one. They posted the first one which I tried and loved! So now, we'll just keep posting yummy muffin recipes. Here's the posting from their blog. Feel free to give it a try but beware.....it's pretty yummy!
In honor of Mother's Day we will begin our quest with the search for a recipe to possibly replace the double chocolate muffin mix. We tested this recipe from BettyCrocker.com and we think it is close.
Happy Mother's Day!
