Thatcher tournament

We took these Rehoboth kids to Thatcher to participate in a basketball tournanment in June.  They did great and won 4 of their 6 games.  John was the coach and his work, T&R Market, sponsored us and bought the jerseys.
It was soooo hot in Thatcher!  My niece Taleah offered to let the team jump in her pool to cool off!

We climbed the fence to her house where the pool was.

Mother's Day muffins!

I just realized that I didn't say anything about the wonderful gift my daughters gave me for Mother's Day.  I used to buy a double chocolate muffin mix from Betty Crocker but then they quit making them.  I was so sad and have tried to find a recipe that is similar but haven't had any luck.  My daughters started a blog on Mother's Day with the idea that they'd try muffin recipes in hopes of duplicating my favorite one.  They posted the first one which I tried and loved!  So now, we'll just keep posting yummy muffin recipes.  Here's the posting from their blog.  Feel free to give it a try but beware.....it's pretty yummy!

Mother's Day Muffins

In honor of Mother's Day we will begin our quest with the search for a recipe to possibly replace the double chocolate muffin mix. We tested this recipe from BettyCrocker.com and we think it is close.

Happy Mother's Day!
